THE THANK YOU NOTE

As I mentioned I received a thank you note from Jenna for a graduation gift but she went on to share with me how Daughter's of the Little Flower had helped her which she attended in sixth and seventh grade:

Lisa, the things you taught us girls in Daughters
of the Little Flower have proved invaluable in a
world where all the wrong messages are sent. Every
once in a while our meetings of old will come up in
conversation with my friends, and you should hear
how much they loved Little Flowers and wish that
there was some way we could do it all again. And
we all enjoyed receiving our letters from five years
ago; it was a powerful statement. Thank you for
introducing us all to the respect we deserve as
as women!

I was so touched that she would take the time to thank me! Sometimes you wonder if
you are getting through especially when working with that age group. It is our responsibility
to speak the Truth in Love. Our youth deserve the truth. Our women deserve to be treated
with dignity but first we need to teach them to be ladies and not sex symbols! Mary is the perfect role model. She was brave and humble and will always lead us to her son Jesus.
