MY MOM'S 19TH ANNIVERSARY

Today is the 19th anniversary of my mom’s death. She actually died on Good Friday. We were all around her and she opened her eyes wide (mind you she was in a coma). She had tears coming down her face. I think she was the other side and at the same time did not want to leave us. As you know the title of my blog is Faithfulness. I use to always say “God is Faithful”. I still believe that I just don’t vocalize it like I use to…shame on me!

I know that I learned about faithfulness through my mother. To witness her faithfulness
to her husband a mentally ill man who was extremely difficult to live with, taught me so
much about Love. Love is not a feeling it’s a decision to love in sickness and health.
Was it easy? Of course not! But I believe firmly that we her four children are the fruit
of her faithfulness to my dad. We never and I mean never missed a Sunday mass or in later years Saturday evening. My siblings also faithfully take their children to mass and this is the legacy my mom has left. In the end what matters? We were born with nothing and we will leave this world with nothing except with how we lived our life. We will
All meet Jesus Christ and we will be judged on how we loved or failed to Love. My
Mom LOVED a man that was very difficult to love. In loving and caring for my father
she was loving and caring for Christ. I miss you mom and I thank you for being such
a living witness and I can’t wait to see you in heaven! Love Lisa
Today is the 4th day of the Divine Mercy Novena don't forget to say it! I'm sure my mom is joining us from heaven.
Fourth Day"Today bring to Me those who do not believe in God and those who do not know Me,
I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy."
Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart.Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen. The Chaplet
