HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARKUS

Markus turned 10 years old today.  I'll never forget the day he was born it was a long ....very long Sunday!  You see I had the other 4 children.  I thought it would be very quick because his brother Matthew (just above Markus) was a very quick delivery.  So I kept expecting I would hear from Chuck anytime but Markus took his time coming into the world. It was also Mint Festival weekend so I remember taking the kids up to the park.

We actually celebrated his Birthday last night.  Chuck barbecued chicken and Linda made all the side dishes.  It was very tasty!  Of course we had cake and ice cream.  The kids enjoyed the  little motor car and swimming in the pond.  They also enjoyed the Ipad which their friends from Germany had brought.
Linda and Chuck had the Biewer family from Germany staying with them this week.  They are not related but actually met through an Internet connection.  Linda, Chuck and the three oldest actually went to Germany over two  years ago and stayed with the Marcus Biewer family.  Isn't it amazing the wonderful people we can meet through the Internet.  They have a young son and he loved all the kids he though every day was a party!
