CONGRATULATIONS TO MY NIECE JENNIVER

Well I went to my first MSU graduation yesterday!  I'm very proud of my niece Jennifer!  Her degree is Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science and next year she will either complete her student teaching through Michigan State or start a Masters of Education program through Notre Dame. She plan on being a secondary (middle and high school) social studies teacher.

She has gotten her feet wet by subbing at different schools including St.Johns Middle where she know allot of the kids because or Aaron her brother.  She also was able to do an education class in St.Johns with the 6th graders.  She really enjoyed it and the teacher was very pleased with the job she did.

We all admitted the graduation itself was pretty boring.  Ervin Johnson gave the talk and thankfully he kept it short.  He basically talked about being a person of integrity at one's place of work.  If you look above you will see Jenifer's Uncle  Jerry playing solitary on his phone.

Jennifer's cousin Elizabeth also graduated and afterwords we all went to Clara's for lunch. Congratulations to all the MSU graduates.  I pray they will be able to find jobs here in Michigan!
