PRESENTING MR. AND MRS. PATRICK THIEDE

Saturday night we celebrated the wedding of  Stephanie and Pat Thiede.  It was a very nice reception and I so enjoyed the people at my table. I always like to learn about people.  So I was asking them where they were from originally (they all live in St.Johns currently) etc etc.  Well Cindy said she was from Westphalia so I kept probing because my mom's side of the family originally came from there generations ago.

Well it turns out we are actually second cousins!  I had no idea!  Her grandmother and my grandpa Fox were brother and sister!  I had actually gone to her grandma, Hilda's funeral in Pewamo several years ago.  What a small world we live in:)
