VISIT WITH ANNETTE

What can one say about my visit with Annette? I have not said anything thus far because I’m at loss for words. She is always in pain but at times it appears unbearable. It is at these times that she asks those around her to pray and praise God. In the early morning hours this can go on for two hours.

She knows that her suffering is redemptive.  Because of her YES to God he is using her suffering and it is not wasted.  She does all this with a smile on her face and a sense of humor. 

Our friend Karen flew in to take care of her.  While we were there her brother Rex and family came to visit which was really nice!   She was given the traveling Fatima statue for a week so we all prayed the Divine
Chaplet in her presence.   That was a real speical treat! Then on Sunday Linda, Anna, Maria and I went to Portland where her sister Joyce's lives and got to see her again. 

She should not even be able to walk because her spine is fractrued because of the cancer.  She goes to Eucharistic adoration every day to be with Jesus.   If you would like to see an interview with a  local paper that her husband taped go here.
