MY 35TH CLASS REUION FOR THE CLASS OF 1977
The St.Johns Class of 1977 celebrated their class reunion on July 21st! It was such a wonderful time. We had almost 90 classmates attend from near and far away! Dan and Margaret Jorae were generous enough to hold the event at their place.
Julie (Latimar) Hopkins worked very hard behind the scenes finding every classmate but eight and establishing a Facebook page just for our class. Anne Rademacher worked very hard as well in tracking down classmates. Jay Miller provided the 70's music and Chery (Stump) Goff purchased the food and was the main cook. It was delicious! Cathy (Schlarf)Weber orchestrated a silent auction. I purchased four of the items.........that is what happens when you try to raise the bids!
Thomas Guy put together the most awesome DVD presentation about our class. He also brought a huge screen and sound system so we could watch it in style. You rock Tom! It was so touching and he honored the 28 classmates that have already passed away. He has also just created a DVD in memory of the 35th Class Reunion...........I can't wait to get it!
Stephanie (Worral) broght 28 lanterns for us to set off in memory of the classmates who have gone before us. It was an awesome reunion! We laughed, told stories and danced. I am so proud to be a graduate of the class of 1977. I can't wait for the 40th...........I still can't believe I'm that old!
